Indoorlands: A Park Building Game that brings Ride Simulations to the Next Level.

  • Build a huge indoor amusement park from scratch.
  • The player takes on the tasks of the park manager, the interior-, ride-, and coaster designer as well as the ride operator.
  • As a manager, you have to build and expand your park, analyze and satisfy your guests’ needs, research attractions and buildings and keep the economy running.
  • Place research centers to generate research points and unlock more attractions, restaurants, shops, halls and rides. Research points can also be spent for general park improvements.
  • Thrill rides take center stage: As a ride operator, you realistically control your rides and record unique ride programs that put a smile on your guests‘ faces.
  • The ‘Create Your Ride’ tool even offers the ability to construct your own, completely unique rides and share them via STEAM workshop.
  • Roller coasters attract visitors. You can construct your own tracks and use different types of gondolas and stations. Of course, blueprints and the Steam workshop can also be used here.
  • Different visitor types have different demands and desires. Attention should be paid to this as new types of visitors arrive at the park over time and certain buildings should be build accordingly.
  • All themings and objects are freely combinable, so each hall is unique due to the individual design choices.
  • There is no limit to your creativity: Over 1000 decoration objects from various themings to choose from.
  • Blueprint System: Show your creativity & share your hall interior designs, ride and coaster creations with other players via STEAM Workshop integration.
  • Planning the park architecture is a challenging task. Space is expensive and maintenance buildings like toilets should be built apart from the flow of visitors.
  • Different tools like the feedback report, heatmaps and individual visitor details provide all the information needed.
  • React to special events and temporary trends. Choose and fulfill contracts to receive rewards.

Indoorlands: The Team behind.

Creators of
Pixelsplit – An indie game studio founded in 2017 – based in Frankfurt, Germany. A diverse indie developer team, that loves to create games and stay in close contact with our community. A studio, that wants to offer everyone on the team the opportunity to individually contribute to projects, to grow and to express themselves.
Based on the long-term work on Virtual Rides, a sophisticated ride simulator, as well as the development of Deadly Days, an Early Access title that evolved greatly during the EA phase, we strongly believe that with Indoorlands we are releasing a unique park management game that still holds a lot of potential.

Indoorlands: A True Early Access Title

  • We believe in the concept of Early Access and wanted the players to be part of the development process. We took the idea of Early Access seriously and made great progress on our roadmap.
  • The game benefited greatly from the lively exchange between players and developers. Community feedback was constructive and helpful.
  • The Early Access version of Indoorlands was running stable, but lacking content, tutorial and features. Within 15 months we were able to implement all the content and features mentioned in the roadmap.
  • Our community submitted over 300 workshop items, many bug reports and helped us to improve UI and game mechanics.
  • The right balance between the realization of the own vision and the feedback, wishes & ideas from the players were key to the success of a good Early Access phase.
